Our Governors all come with a varied and broad range of skills and backgrounds but all share a common interest in providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment at Hindlip and Tibberton to enable all children to achieve their full potential.
The School Council met with our Chair and Deputy Chair of Governors to talk about what they do and to find out what our Governors do. They were very proud to share all the things they do to and asked our Governors some brilliant questions. Rosie asked a very intuitive question, "So are you a bigger version of us?" |
Our full Governing Body meets four times a year to discuss whole school issues and overall progress. Specific responsibilities are delegated to two Committees (Finance, and Teaching & Learning) which meet every half term. Individual governors also carry out visits in school for a number of reasons including Health & Safety, Safeguarding, SEN and Looked After Children, PE Funding and specific areas of focus identified for each year.
