An update on the additional bank holiday on Monday 8 May 2023 - In light of the announcement of His Majesty’s coronation on Saturday 6 May 2023, an additional bank holiday has been announced on Monday 8 May. The DfE have advised that settings that are normally closed on a bank holiday should close on this day. This will include schools and colleges.
