Red Class

Red Class is a Reception Class containing children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

During the children's time in the Foundation Stage the curriculum is based on the Early Learning Goals. These learning goals aim to foster and extend physical, intellectual, emotional and social development. Further details of these goals are explained in the School’s EYFS Reception Skills and Knowledge Progression document

Mrs Mirza and Mrs Simcox are the class teachers and beleive that children learn best through play and exploration. Mrs Lawson is the teaching assisstant who supports Mrs Mirza in teaching small group sessions. All three members of staff have extensive experience in the EYFS and have worked at Hindlip for more than 20 years.
